ToxCup Drug Screen Cup
The ToxCup drug screen cup uses an ingenious integrated cup design: it builds the test strips into the inner lid of the collection container. The donor provides a urine specimen in the cup, and the operator attaches the leak proof screw-on lid to secure the specimen. When the operator is ready to perform the test he leans the cup onto two small legs built into the lid. This allows the specimen to contact the test strips and activates the test. The operator reads results in five minutes.
Test for Five Drugs of Abuse Plus Adulterants
The ToxCup comes in several five-panel configurations to test for the most commonly abused drugs of abuse. Each five-panel configuration is also available with four-panel adulteration strips that detect creatinine, pH, oxidants, and nitrite.
The ToxCup has CLIA-waived status, which means that the tests deliver results comparable to those obtained by trained laboratory technicians when the tests are performed by persons with no laboratory experience and who have only read the testing instructions. CLIA-waived status allows the ToxCup to be used in a wide variety of settings and reduces the burden otherwise required by CLIA regulations.
