BAT Training Courses
Hands-On Training Using EBT
The bulk of our BAT training class time is devoted to performance oriented, hands-on training on operating the EBT. We provide EBT instruments to maximize each students hands-on practice. Students receive thorough, in-depth training on how the breath testing instrument works, how to respond to error messages, and how to perform the required Accuracy Checks and Calibration Adjustments. Students demonstrate proficiency by performing the required mock alcohol tests with real time observation in front of our professional instructor.

Emphasis on Compliance
AlcoPro shares DOTs commitment to ensure that drug and alcohol testing procedures are performed correctly. Our instructors unique background that includes a law degree and work experience as Human Resource Director helps explain why AlcoPros BAT training is geared towards 100% compliance with workplace testing regulations. BAT students have the opportunity to discuss with our instructor questions about policies and procedures relating to drug and alcohol testing.
BAT and Calibration Technician Certificates
Students who successfully demonstrate proficiency using the instrument and successfully pass the written exams receive a BAT certificate. We also offer certification as Factory Authorized Calibration Technician on Intoximeter's instruments.
DOT regulations require BATs to be re-trained at least every five years. AlcoPro's BAT Training meets and exceeds the requirements for re-certification.
Students who successfully complete our BAT training receive a CEU certificate for 13 contact hours (1.3 CEU credits.)
