AlcoPro offers Factory Authorized BAT training on all Intoximeter instruments: Alco-Sensor IV, Alco-Sensor IV with Memory, Alco-Sensor IV @Work software, Alcomonitor CC, and Intox EC/IR.
- BAT Training is one day. Students must complete self-study materials prior to class.

Breath Alcohol Technician training prepares BATs to conduct breath tests in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Alcohol Testing Procedures Rule: 49 CFR Part 40.
Students signing up for our one-day BAT class receive our BAT Self Study Course materials prior to attending class. Students must complete the Self Study Course prior to the class, and must be prepared to pass a written exam on the Self Study materials at the beginning of class. Training covers the DOT alcohol testing program, evidential breath test methodology, and how the breath is analyzed for alcohol content. Our classes provide in-depth training in procedures for obtaining a breath sample, interpreting the evidential breath tester (EBT) results, preparing the alcohol test (ATF) form, recording results, handling problem collections, and reporting to the company DER.
Students continue to praise our professional training program for its effectiveness and depth of coverage. Our performance-oriented, hands-on training allows maximum time for students to learn to operate the EBT. Our classes also train students how to perform the required Accuracy Checks and Calibration Adjustments on the instrument the BAT will be using. Students demonstrate proficiency in operating the instrument through face-to-face, real time observation in front of our professional instructor.
Students who successfully complete training receive BAT certificates documenting proficiency in the use of the instrument the BAT will be using (such as the Alcomonitor CC, Alco-Sensor IV, RBT IV, Alco-Sensor IV @Work program, Intox EC/IR, and others.) We also offer certification as Factory Authorized Calibration Technician on Intoximeters instruments.
BAT Instructor Training (Train The Trainer Course)
AlcoPro offers semiannual BAT Instructor Training classes in Knoxville, Tennessee to certify students as Factory Authorized BAT Instructors on Intoximeters instruments. Students who successfully complete this three-day class are qualified to train other individuals within their organizations to become Breath Alcohol Technicians (BATs).
